Tell Indiana Lawmakers: We Want Raw Milk!

Raw milk is natural and healthful. As the Weston Price Foundation notes in their Real Milk campaign, people are 35,000 times more likely to get sick from other FDA-protected foods than from raw milk.

Indiana state legislature bill SB610 would allow the acquisition of unpasteurized milk by an individual who obtains the milk from animals solely or partially owned by the individual. It would also allow unpasteurized milk from animals owned by an individual to be distributed to members of the individual's family or nonpaying guests.

Please ask your state legislators to vote YES on SB610.

As a proud resident of Indiana, I was thrilled to see that SB610 has been introduced, allowing the acquisition of unpasteurized milk. Raw milk is so natural, so healthy -- and so vital to the survival of struggling family farms who can no longer compete against huge dairy corporations.

Studies prove that raw milk is superior to pasteurized milk in protecting against infection, diarrhea, rickets, tooth decay, and tuberculosis. And children drinking raw milk have better growth rates than those drinking pasteurized milk.

SB610 would allow the acquisition of unpasteurized milk by an individual who obtains the milk from animals solely or partially owned by the individual. It would also allow unpasteurized milk from animals owned by an individual to be distributed to members of the individual's family or nonpaying guests.

Please don't listen to the dairy industry -- the companies with the deep pockets who want to put small family farms out of business. It's not fair, and it's not right. Raw milk is an important health issue, and a vital economic issue. Please support the small family farm and advocate for raw milk sales in Indiana!
