Connecticut Residents: Tell Sen. Blumenthal to Stop Attacking Nutritional Supplements!

In both the 112th and 113th Congresses, Sen. Richard Durbin (D-IL) introduced legislation that would dramatically restrict access to supplements; his Dietary Supplement Labeling Act of 2013 would have removed countless supplements from the market or made them prohibitively expensive. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) has been these bills’ sole co-sponsor.

Both bills died in committee and were never voted upon. They certainly never received bipartisan support. Tell Sen. Blumenthal to step out of Durbin’s shadow and educate himself on the facts about dietary supplements.
