Many states have laws that allow patients to exempt themselves from vaccinations based on personal, philosophical, or religious beliefs. That way, parents who are wary of government-mandated vaccination schedules can make their own informed decisions about their family’s health. The Washington legislature is considering bills, HB 1006 and SB 5144, that would allow all Washington residents to refuse a vaccine based on their religious or conscientious beliefs and prohibit state agencies, employers, schools/ university, and transportation providers from requiring COVID Vaccines, respectively.
Send a message to your state representative to support HB 1006 and SB 5144. Also tell them to oppose SB 5151, which requires employees and volunteers working in outdoor nature-based child care to have MMR Vaccines.
