Support Vaccine Choice in Mississippi

A bill has been introduced in the Mississippi legislature, HB 433, that would require all employees working in public, charter or private schools to receive an annual flu vaccine. No exemptions would be allowed for religious, philosophical or conscientious reasons. Medical exemptions must be approved and employees with a medical exemption would be excluded during an outbreak.

Parents have a right to make their own decisions about treatments for their children based on informed consent. Limiting a patient's ability to make informed decisions about what gets put into his or her body violates medical ethics.

Additionally, tell your lawmakers to support HB 719, which prohibits public or private employer from requiring an employee to receive COVID-19 vaccine as a condition to obtain or continue employment, and HB 475, which establishes a religious belief exemption for vaccination for children in school or childcare.

Write to your state reps and tell them to protect vaccine choice.
